As the show rolled on, so did the goals. Who could forget the time he invited Paul Salmon on stage in Round 6 for a Guest Appearance? Both kicking 14 and 10 goals respectively, or when the millions of fans called for an encore a fortnight later against the Tigers, and he delivered 12 snags equivalent to a face melting Angus Young guitar solo.
It's a long way to the top if you wanna kick a goal - and Gaz reached the pinnacle weekly. Only thrice did he kick less than 5 goals a game. A true showman who left any defender game enough to step up to him well and truly thunderstruck.
